CHARTER OAK ESPECIALES PASQUALE
When developing the Charter Oak Pasquale cigar, Foundation Cigars owner and founder Nick Melillo dedicated the cigar to his grandfather, who preferred Connecticut Broadleaf tobacco. Pasquale helped Melillo develop his affinity for all things tobacco and cigars. The cigar is also a tribute to the opening of the new Foundation Cigars office in 2023, which is in the Connecticut River Valley where the prized USA Connecticut Shade and USA Connecticut Broadleaf tobacco are grown. The Pasquale cigar features a dark chocolatey USA Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper that covers a Nicaraguan binder and filler. The cigars are handmade at Tabacalera AJ Fernandez Cigars de Nicaragua S.A. factory.
